[America x Reader] I Love You Idiot FLUFF

It has been 2 weeks since your break with your boyfriend Alfred. He said that he wanted to meet new people, but not break up. What was his deal? I mean really you go out with a girl for what.. 3 years now and say you want a break! That boy must have something wrong with his head.. or maybe it was just you weren’t fulfilling his sexual desires. God you wish that is not it, but it very well could be. The one thing you know is that you miss him. A lot. It is really different not having him lay beside you in bed or have movie nights on Friday. You just wonder.. did he feel the same way?

You just finished your paper work from your job and you were ready to go to your favorite Cafe.You have been coming here for, gosh since middle school! You even brought Alfred here.. after work both of you would come here, eat and talk about your day. It was just so different without him by your side.  Sure he hasn’t said “I want to break up.” but saying he wants a break is pretty damn close. Pushing all of that aside you walk in. You order a (favorite drink) and (favorite Cafe snack) then sit at your normal table.

You begin to sip your drink and nibble at your food. You pull out your phone and check the usual stuff. DeviantArt, Tumblr, Facebook. Nothing ever really changed and know how dangerous it is to look at your Tumblr is in public, but right now you really didn’t care. This was going to be your care free time. Hell Alfred could walk in here with 4 girls around him and you…

You jinxed yourself. Alfred walked in, you lowered your head. Staring into your drink, hoping he doesn’t see you. Before you looked down you saw he had a girl with him. He had his arm wrapped around her waist and he was hanging on to him. Boy did this make you mad.. no lets not use the word mad.. more like upset.

You glanced over at them, they were ordering and he was… slipping his hand down to her butt. She giggled not caring. Did.. did he like this girl more than you? Did you mean nothing to him anymore… was he going to break up with you?

You sipped your drink, trying to act natural. Soon you got back the feeling of ‘fuck this I don’t give a single fuck!’ You sat normally and looked out the window. Nothing really interesting out there, but it was better than looking at the man you love with another woman.

“_____?” Oh no.. he spotted you…

“Alfred.. heh funny seeing you here!” You say kindly, you look at the girl next to him, she looks confused on why he is talking to you.

“How have you been, we haven’t talked in a while!” 2 weeks “I missed you.” You’re lying. “We should talk and hang out again, I really miss it!” You are LYING!

“Alfred..” You say looking down again. “I’m sorry I haven’t talked to you.. you are the one who said we should break.”
“Heh. what?”

“Don’t act stupid! You know very well what I am talking about!”

“Alfred what is she talking about.” Asks the confused female.

You smile and look at her.

“Oh Alfred has been my boyfriend for 3 years and now he said that he wanted to take a break ya know, meet new people. Well it has been 2 weeks and I can tell he didn’t give a shit about me!” You say.

Then you get up and start to leave.

“_-___-!” Before you shut the door you could hear the sound of someone getting slapped.

You soon got home, just before you broke down. With tears streaming down your face you took off your shoes and sweatshirt. You plop down on the couch grabbing a pillow and holding it to your chest.

“T-that bastard!!” You choke out

He just goes out and finds a girl.. and.. and he didn’t love you. You were just his little play toy. How could you have been that stupid!

Knock Knock Knock

You don’t go and answer the door, nor do you have the strength. You limbs feel weak and your heart aches.

Then the door opens.

“____?” Says Alfred. You want to hide, to disappear, but.. you can’t. “______ I am sorry, please.”

“How am I supposed to forgive you!” You say lifting your head from the pillow. He then finds where you are and sits at the other end of the couch.

“That girl.. she doesn’t mean anything to me.”

“How many whores did you have to go through to find that out.”

“We weren't going out. Her and I. She was just a new girl at work and we were instant friends.”

“That is crap! I saw you groping her ass Alfred!” You sobbed.

“Yes, but I didn’t feel anything for her. Not like I feel something for you.”

“Maybe you shouldn’t have broke my heart! You left me alone..” You wrap your arms around the pillow tighter.

“____ please hear me out.” He says as he starts to slide closer to you.

“No..” He then wraps his arms around you. You pound your hands against his chest. “I hate you! I HATE You!” He pulls you in tighter and starts to rub your back.

“Shhhhh..” You try to push away, but found it to be no use.

“Damnit.. I love you Alfred....Idiot” You say into his chest. Tears start to come back, he lets you cry it out until you can’t anymore.

“Shhh, baby it will be okay. I’m here.” He whispered in your ear.

You look up at him, his eyes are full of regret and love.. love for you. You wrap your arms around his shoulders.

“Never leave me again..” You say quietly.

“Only if you will answer a question of mine.” You sit back down on the couch and look at him. “____ I love you and I never want to let you go again.. baby.. will you be mine. For now and forever? Will… Will you marry me?”

He says as he pulls out a box and opens it. A ring is inside of the box, it is the most beautiful ring you have ever seen.

“Alfred.. yes.. I want to marry you. As long as you promise you wont leave me again.”

He smiles and cups your cheeks. “I promise.” Then he closes the gap in between your lips.
